NAV Consultant

Owing to our continued success, we now have an opening for an experienced NAV Consultant

The role will entail gap analysis preparation along with the gathering and specification of customer requirements, development support, testing, customer training and project management. The position is office based, however, on occasion there will be a requirement to travel to customers’ sites.

Essential Skills

  • Strong, proven consultancy skills. Delivery focused and experienced in successfully delivering projects
  • Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentation. Proven experience engaging with key stakeholders and business representatives
  • Decisive and can take initiative to drive a project forward to ensure delivery
  • A methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Strong database and data analysis skills
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Microsoft Dynamics NAV consultant’s role

Office Junior/Admin Apprentice 

We have an opening for an Office Junior / Admin Apprentice and the successful candidate will be required, with assistance, to provide general office administration and marketing support. On-the-job training will be provided along with access to agreed Level 2 / 3 apprentice training. Initially this will be a junior position with a view to grow into a more senior role over time as the successful candidate learns more about the business. In addition, there could be opportunities to progress to other roles within the company.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, conscientious and hard-working. In addition, the candidate will have a positive attitude, along with good written and verbal communication skills. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C/4 or above) including Maths and English are required. Qualifications and / or knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Office and Excel are desirable.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer

Dynamics Consultants Ltd is an established Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner who consistently deliver the exceptionally high standards of service that our clients have become used to and, owing to our continued success, we now have a requirement for an additional Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a NAV Developer who would like to gain experience in a more challenging and varied role with an established solutions provider and to progress their career within a dynamic team!

The position is office based, however, on occasion there will be a requirement to travel to customers’ sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing application development tasks within Dynamics NAV and utilising the .Net framework.

Responsibilities:

•Develop applications solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL Server environment.

•Undertake the design, coding, testing and release of the code.

•Create and maintain appropriate systems documentation.

•Ensure that all application development deliverables are quality assured.

•Work collaboratively with the Development and Consultants teams.

•Work closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure the right environments for development and testing are set up and maintained.

•Carrying out any other duties within the remit of the department and the company.

 Required Skills:

•Strong Navision development skills.

•A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Dynamics NAV C/SIDE and C/AL development.

•Good knowledge of at least three main application areas of Dynamics NAV.

•Commitment and ownership of problems – ability to problem solve.

•Logical and analytical thinking.

•Ability to work on a number of concurrent projects.

Desirable Skills:

•Experience in developing .Net with C# add-ins for the Dynamics NAV platform.

•Experience developing solutions using Microsoft SQL server and SQL reporting services (SSRS, SSIS and SSAS).

.Net Developer

(Salary: TBA.)

In addition to our vacancy for a Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer, we also have a vacancy for an experienced .NET Developer to join our dedicated team.

Candidates Should Have:

            •3-5 years commercial development experience building applications on the .NET framework (2.0 and above), ideally in C#.

            Good understanding of software engineering processes.

            Good understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.

            •Knowledge of designing, implementing and deploying Microsoft SQL Server Relational Database solutions.

            •Knowledge of XML.

Experience/awareness of the following is desirable:

            •Knowledge of client-side web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery.

            •Building applications using .net Framework 4.0.

            •Using Source Control Systems, specifically Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

            •Design and coding best practises.

            •SharePoint 2007/2010/2013.
